Description

You will drive organizational decision-making by transforming complex datasets into actionable insights through descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and preprocess raw data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key metrics to stakeholders.
• Utilize statistical methods and predictive modeling to identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Monitor data quality and integrity, identifying and resolving discrepancies or anomalies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Database Developer, or similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience creating queries to retrieve data from disparate sources.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redshift, and Snowflake.
• Multi-year experience with AWS tech stack including Glue, S3, Athena, and Redshift.
• Proven experience with Salesforce, Informatica, Tableau, and MuleSoft.
• Ability to work with both structured and unstructured data.
• Experience with database-backed web applications and database design principles.

Preferred Skills

• Background in early childhood, early education, or health and human services business domains.
• Experience working with public institutions such as municipal, state, or federal government.
• Familiarity with columnar databases.
