Description

You will design and implement cohesive enterprise-level data architectures that support both traditional reporting and AI/ML initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing data architectures to identify fragmentation, redundancies, and gaps in efficiency or quality.
• Develop strategic roadmaps and architectural guidance to transition fragmented data states into integrated enterprise solutions.
• Define standards, principles, and best practices for data management, integration, security, governance, and quality.
• Execute data modeling, schema design, and database development using relational, NoSQL, and cloud-native technologies.
• Mentor IT solution teams and conduct structured reviews to ensure adherence to architectural best practices.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture, data modeling, and cloud data solutions.
• Hands-on expertise with relational databases including Oracle and SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Cassandra.
• Practical experience designing and implementing cloud architectures within AWS, specifically using Redshift, RDS, S3, Glue, Lambda, Athena, and SageMaker.
• Advanced use of data modeling tools like ERwin, ER/Studio, Sparx EA, or SAP PowerDesigner to create conceptual, logical, and physical models.
• Deep understanding of data lifecycle management, integration, governance, and semantic consistency.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical specifications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification.
• Experience integrating AI/ML platforms and frameworks with enterprise data architectures.
