Own the cloud-based data platform lifecycle, from tactical solutions to long-term roadmap and governance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and implementation of the cloud-based data management platform.
• Define short-term tactical solutions and a long-term data management roadmap.
• Establish governance processes for corporate metadata, data quality, and completeness.
• Develop strategies for data security, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Oversee data source mapping, movement, interfaces, and analytics execution.

Required Skills

• 10 years of experience in data architecture, data mining, and large-scale data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise repository, data modeling, mapping, and profiling tools.
• Expertise in relational data structures, entity relationship planning, and database design.
• Proven ability to manage data and metadata migration.
• Strong knowledge of data privacy practices and laws.
• Experience with web services including SOAP, XML, UDDI, and WSDL.
• Object-oriented programming experience using Java, J2EE, EJB, .NET, or WebSphere.
• Proficiency in data processing flowcharting techniques.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and data security.
• Experience with transportation-related data.
