Description

You will lead the design and execution of enterprise-scale data platforms, focusing on cloud migration and modernization.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and build scalable data solutions using Snowflake, Databricks, and Lakehouse patterns.
  • Lead complex data migrations from on-premise systems to cloud environments.
  • Design data integration pipelines using ETL/ELT and streaming technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data architecture with business and infrastructure requirements.
  • Drive data governance and cataloging initiatives to ensure data quality and accessibility.

Required Skills

  • 15+ years of experience in data architecture and data engineering.
  • Deep expertise in cloud data platforms, specifically Snowflake and Databricks.
  • Proven track record of leading data migration projects (on-prem to cloud or cloud-to-cloud).
  • Strong background in ERP data environments, particularly SAP (S/4HANA, Datasphere, BTP) or Oracle ERP.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, data integration, and enterprise data platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

  • Specific experience with SAP data architecture and Oracle-to-SAP migrations.
  • Exposure to AI/ML-enabled data platforms and prior federal or national lab experience.
