Description

• Implement and configure Microsoft Purview for enterprise data governance, including setting up accounts, collections, scans, classifications, and business glossary.
• Execute data source onboarding and scanning for Azure and on-prem systems (ADLS, Azure SQL, Synapse, SQL Server, Power BI), ensuring accurate metadata capture and refresh schedules.
• Apply and manage data classifications, sensitivity labels, and policies within Purview and integrate with Azure security and access controls.
• Configure and validate technical and business lineage to support data traceability, impact analysis, and compliance requirements.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting, monitoring, and optimization of Purview scans, metadata accuracy, and governance workflows while working closely with data engineers and stewards
