Description

You will lead enterprise-wide data governance initiatives within the vendor and supplier domains. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business and technical subject matter experts to define and implement enterprise data governance policies.
• Design and enforce standards for data cataloging and data quality processes.
• Manage a team of data professionals, including stewards and analysts.
• Ensure the standardization of operational information and proper data consumption across the organization.
• Oversee data ingestion, stewardship, and quality workflows within a global CPG environment.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Data Governance or Data Management within a global CPG or F&B company.
• 8+ years of experience managing data within the Vendor/Supplier domain, including procurement and supplier onboarding.
• 5+ years of experience managing a team of data professionals.
• 5+ years of functional experience designing data cataloging and data quality tools and processes.
• Hands-on experience with data catalog and quality tools such as Collibra, Informatica Axon, or Alation.
• Proven ability to bridge the gap between technical requirements and non-technical business stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of data ingestion, stewardship, and data quality frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) or Ariba.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements including GDPR and FDA compliance.
• Exposure to Data Mesh or Data Fabric architectures.
