Description

You will own the implementation and management of enterprise data governance capabilities.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement and configure Microsoft Purview, setting up accounts, collections, scans, classifications, and the business glossary.
• Execute data source onboarding and scanning for Azure and on-prem systems, ensuring accurate metadata capture and refresh schedules.
• Apply and manage data classifications, sensitivity labels, and policies within Purview, integrating them with Azure security and access controls.
• Configure and validate technical and business lineage to support data traceability, impact analysis, and compliance requirements.
• Troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize Purview scans, metadata accuracy, and governance workflows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant experience in data governance.
• Expertise configuring Microsoft Purview for data governance.
• Hands-on experience with Azure SQL, Synapse, and SQL Server.
• Experience managing data sources like ADLS and Power BI.
• Knowledge of data classification and sensitivity labeling within Azure.
• Ability to configure and validate data lineage.
• Any Graduate education.
