Description

You will design and implement data models for a cloud-based data management platform and enterprise information framework.

Responsibilities

• Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models to define business entities, relationships, and client hierarchies.
• Translate business requirements into technical data designs, including canonical and Data as a Service models.
• Perform data profiling and analysis to establish, modify, and maintain accurate data models and metadata.
• Enforce data governance, naming standards, and business rules for data reconciliation and deduplication.
• Develop and support MDM toolkit usage, integrating source systems into the MDM solution.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.
• 10+ years of experience translating business needs into data models and documenting designs.
• 10+ years of experience performing data profiling and analysis to maintain models.
• 10+ years of experience developing canonical models and utilizing SOA for integrations.
• 10+ years of experience presenting modeling results and recommendations to stakeholders and development teams.
• Proficiency in writing queries using SQL, Python, R, or Scala.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse, SQL Server, Snowflake, or Databricks.
• Strong understanding of data privacy practices, laws, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to manage data capacity planning, lifecycle requirements, and disaster recovery strategies.
