Lead QA activities and testing for enterprise data platform projects, ensuring high-quality data solutions and smooth cloud migration delivery.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA and testing activities for enterprise data platforms and cloud migration initiatives, managing teams and test environments.
• Create and maintain test plans, QA strategies, and data quality processes across ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud platforms like BigQuery.
• Perform unit, integration, regression, performance, and UAT validation, including source-to-target data reconciliation and field-level checks.
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks, integrating processes into CI/CD pipelines alongside DevOps and DataOps practices.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders and engineering teams to manage defect tracking and communicate technical risks.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in QA/Quality Engineering, with proven leadership of enterprise-level QA teams.
• Strong expertise in Data Warehouse and Data Platform testing, including ETL/ELT validation and data quality.
• Hands-on proficiency in SQL queries, data analysis, and cloud data platforms such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Databricks.
• Experience with QA automation frameworks and modern data testing tools like dbt, Great Expectations, Soda, or Datafold.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control, and DevOps/DataOps practices for automated testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Availability in EST/CST time zones.
• Mandatory federal clearance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with on-premise EDW to cloud migration projects.
• Hands-on experience using AI/GenAI tools for QA and testing.
