Description

Manage endpoint security engineering for a large enterprise environment, ensuring systems are hardened against vulnerabilities while maintaining production stability.

Responsibilities

• Manage a test group of over 1,000 endpoints across Windows, iOS, MacOS, and Android, including alpha testing for new patches, application updates, and operating system features.
• Detect, remediate, and mitigate workstation and mobile security vulnerabilities, prioritizing remediation strategies to prevent productivity outages.
• Implement and maintain security benchmark standards (STIG, NIST, CIS) to harden the endpoint environment with minimal user impact.
• Conduct extensive regression testing for enterprise core applications, monthly critical security patches, and OS updates to ensure compatibility and security.
• Prepare detailed documentation for engineered solutions, participate in IT audits (PCI, HIPAA), and coordinate user acceptance testing with various IT teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience providing security engineering for desktop and mobility infrastructure in a large enterprise environment.
• Deep expertise in Windows 10 & 11, iOS, MacOS, and Android enterprise management, including MDM, SCCM, GPOs, and Active Directory.
• Strong analytical skills for detecting and analyzing system, application, code, and hardware weaknesses pre-production.
• Experience with security concepts of Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability, including CVE vulnerability mitigation and zero-day response.
• Proficiency in testing applications such as Java, Adobe Reader, Edge Chromium, Chrome, Firefox, WinSCP, and Notepad++.
• Ability to balance security standards implementation with business needs to avoid production impact.

Preferred Skills

• Current industry certifications in endpoint security or infrastructure management.
• Experience participating in corporate risk projects and preparing for IT audits.
