Description

Design and develop native and cross-platform mobile applications that integrate with legacy COBOL and Java backend systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop native iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI, and native Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Build cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and Flutter, writing reusable and modular code.
• Integrate mobile apps with existing COBOL and Java backend systems via RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints.
• Implement secure communication protocols, OAuth authentication, and data encryption to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Bitrise to automate builds, testing, and deployment.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in mobile application development.
• Proficiency in at least two of the following: Swift, Flutter, Kotlin, Vue 3, or React Native.
• Experience with legacy system integration, specifically COBOL and Java backends.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools, version control, and cloud services.
• Ability to design API gateways to expose legacy services to modern mobile platforms.
• Experience with UI/UX design integration and ensuring responsive designs across iOS and Android.
• Competence in performance profiling tools like Xcode Instruments and Android Profiler.

Preferred Skills

• Expertise in state management (Provider, Riverpod for Flutter; Redux for React Native).
• Experience with App Store deployment, maintenance via App Store Connect, and Firebase.
