Lead the design and modernization of enterprise MMIS solutions and cloud infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and modernize MMIS solutions aligned with Medicaid regulations and CMS MITA guidelines.
• Develop and execute cloud migration strategies leveraging AWS for scalability and cost efficiency.
• Design and deploy AWS infrastructure using IaC tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS CDK.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and integrate AWS services.
• Ensure solutions comply with federal/state healthcare standards and implement AWS security best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture with direct MMIS/Medicaid experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services in enterprise environments.
• Proficiency with IaC tools: CloudFormation, Terraform, AWS CDK.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, Git, Jenkins, and Ansible.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven track record in security and compliance for healthcare IT (HIPAA, MARS-E).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional).
• Experience with architectural modeling tools (e.g., TOGAF).
• Strong understanding of quality management processes and standards (ISO 9000).
