Description

You will align the Trails program landscape with operational outcomes by providing technical direction and architectural oversight.

Responsibilities

• Perform system discovery assessments, gap analyses, and evaluate integration patterns, web applications, and end-to-end data flows.
• Lead the design and execution of functional and non-functional requirements in alignment with the technical roadmap.
• Oversee architecture changes to ensure compliance with standards, security posture, and CISO guidelines.
• Create technical roadmaps, drive DevSecOps practices, and mitigate technical debt.
• Evaluate vendor deliverables through code reviews, test coverage analysis, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate architectural changes with the Portfolio Architect and Architecture Review Board (ARB).
• Provide guidance on agile development processes, operations, maintenance, and product issue triage.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience leading software development teams and solutioning across multiple platforms and paradigms.
• 5+ years of experience managing large, complex projects with multiple dependencies.
• Hands-on experience leading distributed and cloud technology teams with a focus on high availability and reliability.
• Experience with legacy platforms, including mainframe environments.
• Deep knowledge of Software Development Life Cycles (SDLB) and Continuous Integration/Delivery (CI/CD).
• Proficiency in C#, Java, Javascript, Python, Apex, .NET Core, SQL Server, Oracle, and NoSQL.
• Experience with process engineering and demand management.
• Ability to manage financial and resource requirements within an agile framework.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within the public sector or Human Services.
