Lead the definition and direction of IT platform architecture to align technology strategy with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Define, explain, and advocate technology strategies, policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Lead teams in developing technology plans and ensuring conceptual completeness of technical solutions.
• Consult with project teams to align projects with enterprise architecture or identify necessary architectural modifications.
• Collaborate with project management and IT leaders to ensure progress toward architectural alignment.
• Review existing business processes and establish metrics to improve architectural outcomes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in architecture design, deployment, systems lifecycle management, and infrastructure planning.
• 10+ years of experience in application, software, and systems development methodologies, including agile approaches.
• 10+ years of experience with API protocols and schemas, specifically SOAP and REST.
• 10+ years of experience in designing overall application and solution architectures and systems integration.
• 10+ years of experience with NASCIO, TOGAF, or FEAF frameworks.
• 10+ years of experience in cloud application architecture (Azure/AWS).
• 5+ years of experience in SaaS (Software as a Service) architecture.
• 4+ years of experience defining enterprise metadata standards and taxonomy.
• Proficiency with XML constructs and schemas.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years of experience with Esri's GIS tools and platforms.
