Description

You will develop embedded software for electronic control systems supporting diesel engine programs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software for embedded devices from requirements through to commercial deployment.
• Integrate software libraries to build flash file application releases for engine controllers.
• Configure, integrate, build, and test embedded software on diesel engine systems in bench environments.
• Troubleshoot software or system defects using a debugger.
• Analyze and enhance the efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources.

Required Skills

• 1+ years of experience in software development.
• Solid programming experience in C or C++.
• Knowledge of SQL and Visual Basic.
• Ability to read schematics and component data sheets.
• Understanding of the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, functional specification, development, and testing.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and implement system changes to resolve defects.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or any graduate degree.
