Description

Manage environmental, health, and safety strategies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards while owning the site’s safety culture and operational risk reduction.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily audits through observation and testing to identify and minimize operational risks and hazards.
• Investigate incidents and injuries in coordination with line managers to ensure accurate and timely completion.
• Track corrective measures to ensure effectiveness and prompt resolution of at-risk behaviors or conditions.
• Manage EHS reporting requirements, including OSHA, RCRA, SARA, and EPA documentation.
• Develop the annual site budget to control fixed and variable cost expenditures while reducing environmental footprint.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in environmental health and safety roles.
• Proficiency with OSHA, RCRA, and SARA regulatory frameworks.
• Experience preparing EPA reports and managing compliance documentation.
• Ability to use injury exposure and incident data to measure safety goal attainment.
• B.S. or B.A. in Engineering, Environmental Science, Natural Sciences, or a related technical discipline.

• Experience utilizing data to increase site sustainability and reduce environmental impact.
