Description

You will maintain sanitary conditions across patient care areas, treatment rooms, and clinical workspaces through standardized cleaning protocols.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms, walls, windows, and floors using approved chemicals and equipment.
• Manage waste removal by collecting regular trash, regulated medical waste, and soiled linens.
• Execute high-level disinfectant cleaning for critical areas, including isolation rooms, emergency departments, and operative invasive areas.
• Perform specialty floor and carpet care, including stripping, refinishing, and upholstery extraction.
• Maintain janitor closets and supply storage areas according to regulatory and safety standards.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in using specialized cleaning equipment and chemical dispensers.
• Knowledge of handling and transporting medical waste safely and securely.
• Experience with EHS and web-based systems.
• Ability to read, speak, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to recognize and react to emergency or urgent situations.
• Capacity to follow designated signs, symbols, and safety protocols.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
