Maintain clinical and administrative cleanliness standards across the facility.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Sanitize patient rooms, treatment areas, restrooms, and offices using approved chemicals and methods.
• Execute discharge cleaning for isolation rooms and patient areas, ensuring strict safety protocol compliance.
• Collect and dispose of regular trash, regulated medical waste, and soiled linens according to department standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks including vacuuming, and cleaning walls, windows, doors, and floors.
• Transport and store medical waste securely, distribute supplies, and assist with facility upkeep.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in environmental services or professional cleaning roles.
• Proficiency in Quality Control standards specific to healthcare environments.
• Knowledge of handling regulated medical waste and interpreting safety symbols.
• Ability to operate specialized cleaning equipment and web-based tools.
• Experience following preventive maintenance schedules and departmental standard operating procedures.
• Ability to follow written instructions and designated signage for safety and compliance.
