Description

You will manage Epic system administration and lead the migration of Epic environments to Azure Cloud.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Administer Epic system components, infrastructure, and architecture, including user accounts, roles, and permissions.
• Monitor system performance and health to ensure optimal operation and rapid issue resolution.
• Plan and implement Azure infrastructure setups, including virtual machines, storage, and networking.
• Manage data migration from on-premises systems to Azure while ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime.
• Execute Epic system updates and patches to maintain security and feature parity.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Epic system administration and component management.
• Epic certifications in system administration.
• Experience with Azure infrastructure setup, including networking, storage, and virtual machines.
• Proven ability in data migration from on-premises environments to cloud platforms.
• Experience with testing and validation of healthcare systems in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of implementing security measures for patient data and healthcare regulation compliance.
• Ability to provide end-user training and technical support.
