Description

You will serve as the primary technical contact for building and supporting interfaces between Epic and third-party applications or interface engines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full interface development lifecycle, including analysis, design, specification, implementation, go-live, and ongoing support.
• Collaborate with application teams, subject matter experts, and vendors to document business requirements and configure interfaces.
• Coordinate testing, build, cutover planning, and go-live activities by engaging interface engine developers and stakeholders.
• Partner with interface engine developers to create data-translation routines that support Epic and external system data formats.
• Diagnose and resolve interface-related issues while monitoring live interfaces to provide permanent resolutions.

Required Skills

• Epic Bridges certification (mandatory).
• 3+ years of Epic implementation and operations support experience.
• 5+ years of Health IT experience.
• 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• 8+ years of experience in application development and system integration.
• 8+ years of experience with enterprise systems, security protocols, and system architecture.
• 8+ years of experience in technical troubleshooting and data analysis.
• 8+ years of experience managing project timelines and coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• 5+ years of experience assessing user needs through direct customer discussion.
