Description

You will support a multi-phase healthcare data acquisition initiative focusing on developing reusable Epic data extraction scripts and assisting partner hospitals with customized Epic environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and document Epic data acquisition scripts based on specifications.
• Translate timestamp and metric requirements into Epic-compatible logic.
• Validate scripts across Epic environments to ensure accuracy and performance.
• Assess partner hospital Epic configurations, including custom workflows and module variations.
• Troubleshoot Epic data issues and guide integration approaches.

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of hands-on Epic experience (clinical modules, data models, or reporting).
• Strong experience with Epic data extraction tools (Clarity, Caboodle, Chronicles preferred).
• Advanced SQL and scripting skills.
• Experience with Epic build components such as SmartSets, SmartForms, BPAs, and Orders.
• Solid understanding of clinical workflows and EMR data structures.
• Proven ability to translate business and data requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience with ETL Processes.
