Description

You will design and execute data acquisition initiatives for healthcare partners using Epic systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and document reusable Epic data extraction scripts.
• Translate timestamp and metric requirements into Epic-compatible logic.
• Validate scripts across multiple Epic environments to ensure accuracy and performance.
• Assess partner hospital Epic configurations, including custom workflows and module variations.
• Troubleshoot data issues and guide integration approaches.

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of hands-on Epic experience in clinical modules, data models, or reporting.
• Strong experience with Epic data extraction tools (Clarity, Caboodle, Chronicles preferred).
• Advanced SQL and scripting skills.
• Experience with Epic build components such as SmartSets, SmartForms, BPAs, and Orders.
• Solid understanding of clinical workflows and EMR data structures.
• Proven ability to translate business and data requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience with ETL processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with multi-phase healthcare data acquisition initiatives.
