Description

You will design and implement integrations between digital solutions and the Epic EHR system.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clinical domain data models to determine optimal integration paths with Epic EHR.
• Validate FHIR resources and Epic webservices to identify functional gaps and map them to system features.
• Collaborate with product and technology teams to document feature requirements.
• Resolve complex technical issues through analytical troubleshooting.
• Drive execution and remove technical barriers within cross-functional virtual teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying applications that interface with EHR systems like Epic.
• Hands-on experience with Epic webservices and FHIR APIs.
• Proven experience integrating digital solutions with Epic EHR environments.
• End-to-end knowledge of HL7 and FHIR standards.
• Mandatory exposure to the healthcare domain.
• Strong technical knowledge of REST APIs.
• Ability to work independently and navigate ambiguous requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience creating REST API documentation using Swagger and YAML.
