Description

You will manage the scope, schedule, and quality of clinical application projects within the EHR environment. You coordinate project activities with the EHR Program Director, EHR PMO Manager, and Application Manager. You develop business cases for approval by the Information Technology Board and Governance (ITGB). You facilitate communication between departments and the Office of the State CIO, Department of Information Technology, and the EPMO. You maintain project plans using Microsoft Project and MS SharePoint according to State and NC IT methodologies. You advise and coach team members on project issues, success factors, and lessons learned.

Responsibilities

• Manage scope, schedule, and quality of clinical application projects.
• Coordinate project activities with EHR Program Director, EHR PMO Manager, and Application Manager.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT project management.
• In-depth knowledge of IT project budgeting, costing, and QA methodologies.
• Experience managing Health Information Technology (HIT) projects, specifically clinical information systems.
• Experience with healthcare application interoperability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and MS SharePoint.
• Experience with IT procurement and vendor/contract management.
• Ability to maintain project scope, schedule, and quality standards.
