Description

You will manage the scope, schedule, and quality of clinical application projects within the EHR environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage scope, schedule, and quality of clinical application projects.
• Coordinate project activities with the EHR Program Director, EHR PMO Manager, and Application Manager.
• Develop business cases for approval by the Information Technology Board and Governance (ITGB).
• Maintain project plans using Microsoft Project and MS SharePoint according to State and NC IT methodologies.
• Advise and coach team members on project issues, success factors, and lessons learned.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT project management.
• In-depth knowledge of IT project budgeting, costing, and QA methodologies.
• Experience managing Health Information Technology (HIT) projects, specifically clinical information systems.
• Experience with healthcare application interoperability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and MS SharePoint.
• Experience with IT procurement and vendor/contract management.
• Ability to maintain project scope, schedule, and quality standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience facilitating communication with the Office of the State CIO and Department of Information Technology.
