Description

Evaluate data requests and maintain the Data Request System while ensuring regulatory compliance and data stability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Data Request System, including MS Access databases, Excel workbooks, and data visualizations.
• Conduct disclosure risk assessments for incoming data requests, presentations, and reports.
• Collaborate with Core Informatics to update the TDH Data Inventory and Data Catalog.
• Gather requirements to implement improvements to current data request systems and storage methods.
• Develop and execute processes for weekly backups of all DR-related files, software, and outputs.

Required Skills

• Proficiency with statistical software including SAS, SPSS, or R.
• Experience with database management using MS Access, SQL, Oracle, or ODBC/JDBC.
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working understanding of IT systems and software APIs for connecting to internal and external data sources.
• Ability to apply statistical knowledge to data analyses.
• Competency in data visualization techniques.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Tableau or Power BI.
