Description

You will own the design, packaging, and engineering of mobile, off-highway, or offshore equipment and associated subsystems for pressure pumping services.

Responsibilities

• Execute technical engineering tasks on a system-level from initial definition through to commissioning.
• Develop new products or modify existing equipment to meet functional, technical, and budget requirements.
• Design and analyze hardware for product changes, unitization, and integration into trailers, vessels, or skids.
• Act as technical lead for equipment layouts, ensuring all systems and technologies operate together.
• Define and execute product verification and validation testing while aiding manufacturing during assembly.
• Contribute to reliability analysis, including risk assessments and FMMEA, by examining technical data.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of engineering experience.
• Proficiency with Solidworks, AutoCAD, Ansys, and MathCad.
• Experience designing and installing machinery and support systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic, structural, and instrumentation systems.
• Background in process design and equipment installation.
• Knowledge of applicable equipment standards such as SAE, NFPA, US DOT, and ASME.
• Ability to process data, write engineering reports, and diagnose equipment system malfunctions.
• Undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in large equipment or structural design.
• Exposure to industries involving mixing, bulk material handling, or pressure pumping.
• Knowledge of bulk material flow, fluid dynamics, pump specifications, and piping systems.
