About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a leading automation machinery manufacturing company seeking an experienced SAP SD Functional Lead with deep Engineered-to-Order (ETO) expertise. 
This is a high-impact role driving large-scale ERP transformation initiatives within a discrete manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do
• Serve as the Functional Lead for SAP SD with a primary focus on Engineered-to-Order (ETO) processes
• Drive solution design, process standardization, and ERP transformation initiatives
• Partner with Product Owners, Architects, and technical teams to define scope and solution roadmap
• Lead Agile delivery teams (sprint planning, backlog management, defect resolution)
• Oversee end-to-end testing and validation for project-based manufacturing workflows
• Ensure integration across Finance, Logistics, Project Systems (PS), and Supply Chain
• Minimize customizations while delivering scalable, efficient SAP S/4HANA solutions
• Support cutover planning, change management, and stakeholder alignment

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years of SAP SD functional consulting experience
• At least one full end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation
• Mandatory hands-on experience with Engineered-to-Order (ETO) in discrete manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of SAP SD/OTC, Pricing, Contracts, and Logistics Execution
• Experience integrating SAP SD with Finance, Supply Chain, and Project Systems (PS)
• SAP Variant Configuration (VC) experience (classes, characteristics, dependencies, super BOMs/Routings)
• Experience with SAP PI/PO, CPI, MuleSoft, or similar middleware
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (SAFe experience preferred)
• U.S. work authorization required (no current or future sponsorship available)

• Exposure to Make-to-Order (MTO), Configure-to-Order (CTO), or Make-to-Stock (MTS)
• Experience in automation machinery or capital equipment manufacturing
• Leadership experience in large-scale ERP transformation programs
