Lead technical teams in developing, implementing, and maintaining ESB and SOA solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical teams in executing projects, providing solutions, and estimating work effort.
• Design and develop services to wrap third-party software and expose functionality within a SOA environment.
• Create service specifications covering input/output interfaces, security, and protocol requirements.
• Establish SOA design standards and best practices for object naming, deployment, and data integration.
• Manage development activities including developer setup, deployment, build, release, and environment configuration.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with WebSphere Message Broker, IBM Integration Bus (IIB), and WebSphere ESB.
• Expertise in WebSphere MQ concepts and infrastructure requirements for WMB/IIB.
• Extensive experience with Web Services and RESTful Services using JSON and XML.
• Deep understanding of XML, XML Schema, and XPath.
• Advanced knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts and governance, including service versioning.
• Expert-level experience with Message Sets, IIB nodes, mediations, and mediation flows.
• Proven ability to create, performance tune, and troubleshoot message flows.
• Experience working within agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with IBM middleware tools such as WS-R and DataPower.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading technical teams in a senior capacity.
• Deep knowledge of SOA governance and design standards.
