Description

You will build and deploy big data code to ingest external data into the Enterprise Data Warehouse.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and Level of Effort documentation.
• Develop and deploy big data code to ingest data from external source systems.
• Standardize ingested data into the Source Standardizing zone using Big Data technologies.
• Maintain and enhance existing data feeds to ensure reliability.
• Diagnose software issues, perform code and design reviews, and debug errors from job abends.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in ETL development.
• Proficiency with Informatica BDM.
• Experience with Spark/Scala.
• Hands-on experience writing PySpark scripts.
• Experience with Teradata.
• Knowledge of Informatica ETL and Control-M.
• Ability to work in Durham (Research Triangle Park), NC or various client sites across the U.S.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Edward data ingestion and analytical processing.
