Description

You will design and build complex ETL data integration frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and propose high-level design diagrams for overall system architecture.
• Lead inception sessions to build consensus on project scope and generate user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Manage the end-to-end data loading process, including validation, execution, and post-load verification.
• Optimize migration processes for performance, adjusting configurations for large data volumes to meet SLAs.
• Create new tooling to streamline data processing as required.

Required Skills

• 10+ years in a technical capacity building complex ETL Data Integration frameworks.
• 5+ years of experience with ETL and ELT concepts.
• Experience leading design review sessions to build consensus among technical and business participants (3+ years).
• Experience leading complex data transformation initiatives, including mentoring (3+ years).
• Deep understanding of the P&C insurance domain (policies, claims, billing, underwriting).
• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience working with different cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with Change Data Capture (CDC) frameworks.
• Experience working with customer teams to understand business objectives.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS Glue or Azure Data Factory.
• Previous large scale data migration experience from mainframe or complex legacy systems.
