Description

Lead end-to-end ETL data migration activities for pharmaceutical clients, serving as the primary onsite liaison between business stakeholders and offshore delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of data migration projects, including scoping, planning, execution, and validation.
• Perform detailed data field mapping between legacy and target systems to ensure functional and regulatory compliance.
• Act as the onsite point of contact, aligning client expectations and facilitating onsite-offshore coordination.
• Define and execute data validation, reconciliation, and verification processes with QA teams.
• Write, review, and optimize PL/SQL scripts for extraction, transformation, and loading workflows.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in ETL, data migration, or database engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise with PL/SQL and Oracle databases.
• Proven experience designing and managing ETL pipelines.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences domain (Master Data, Clinical, Regulatory, or ERP).
• Ability to gather business requirements and understand complex data workflows.
• Strong understanding of data governance, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience leading onsite-offshore delivery models and managing stakeholder relationships.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or DataStage.
• Working knowledge of cloud data platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with pharma-specific systems like Veeva, SAP, LIMS, or Clinical systems.
