Description

You will design and implement scalable ETL architectures on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, efficient ETL architectures for data warehousing and analytics.
• Define data integration strategies, data quality standards, and metadata management processes.
• Lead the development of ETL pipelines, workflows, and orchestration using Cloud Composer.
• Optimize performance of ETL jobs and SQL queries for large-scale data volumes.
• Collaborate with data engineers, DBAs, analysts, and business stakeholders to define data requirements.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of overall data architect experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in ETL/ELT development and data pipeline management.
• Strong expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Shell scripting.
• Experience with BigQuery, DataProc, and Dataflow.
• Experience with Apache Airflow (Cloud Composer).
• Expertise in Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and data migration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with API services.
