Description

Validate data ingestion and curation pipelines by reconciling data across Teradata, file systems, and Snowflake.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile data across platforms using manual or automated SQL scripts.
• Develop and execute functional, non-functional, and negative test cases for data pipelines.
• Test batch jobs within an enterprise data warehouse environment.
• Manage test artifacts including strategies, test cases, defect logs, and status reports.
• Integrate testing activities within DevOps processes.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of test automation experience using a scripting language.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database testing.
• Hands-on experience with the Snowflake ecosystem and its query interface.
• Experience testing data pipelines (Teradata to Snowflake, File to Snowflake).
• Working knowledge of UNIX file systems and file manipulation commands.
• Solid understanding of data warehouse and database concepts.
