Description

Lead the migration of ETL jobs and databases from on-premises environments to AWS. Build new ETL solutions, ensure data quality, and provide production support.

Responsibilities

• Migrate and replicate on-premises ETL processes to AWS using Glue, PySpark, and Redshift.
• Design, develop, and implement scalable full-stack applications, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Automate and orchestrate ETL workflows using AWS Step Functions, Airflow DAGs, and Lambda.
• Validate data integrity, perform impact analysis, and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Provide production support, monitoring, and troubleshooting for cloud-based data services.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in ETL development, data warehousing, and AWS cloud services.
• Proficiency in Python, Perl, and Korn Shell scripting on Unix/Linux platforms.
• Experience with Informatica or DataStage for legacy ETL understanding.
• Strong SQL skills with AWS databases (Aurora PostgreSQL, Redshift, RDS) and on-prem DB2.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Glue, S3, EC2, Step Functions, and Lambda.
• API development expertise using REST and SOAP frameworks.
• Version control with Git/Bitbucket and CI/CD familiarity with Jenkins.

Preferred Skills

• AWS certifications and experience with AI/ML services.
• Data visualization skills using Tableau or Excel for validation.
