Description

You will lead the migration of ETL jobs and databases from on-premises environments to AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ETL Glue PySpark processes to load data into Redshift and Aurora PostgreSQL.
• Orchestrate and validate ETL workflows and APIs across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Perform business analysis and data validation to ensure data quality and minimize inconsistencies.
• Provide production support, monitoring, and troubleshooting for ETL processes.
• Document data mappings, flows, APIs, and support procedures.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in ETL development, data warehousing, and AWS cloud services.
• Scripting expertise in DataStage, Informatica, Korn Shell, Perl, and Python on Unix/Linux.
• Proficiency in AWS Glue, Step Functions, Airflow DAGs, Lambda, S3, and EC2.
• Strong SQL skills with on-premises databases (DB2 on AIX) and AWS databases (RDS, Aurora, Redshift).
• Experience developing scalable full-stack applications and back-end APIs (REST/SOAP).
• Data analysis and validation using Python and Excel.
• Version control with Git or Bitbucket and familiarity with CI/CD (Jenkins).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DB2 on AIX environments.
• Background in legacy data migration projects.
