You will design, build, and maintain scalable ETL applications for batch and streaming data workflows.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable ETL applications for batch and streaming data workflows.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to define requirements and project timelines.
• Apply coding standards, perform code reviews, and manage deployments via CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement security best practices across cloud-based solutions to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Drive the adoption of new tools and techniques to improve development productivity.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience with a focus on ETL/ELT patterns and Python.
• At least 2 years of experience in a senior or lead developer role.
• Extensive hands-on experience with SQL Server, SSIS, and SQL Agents.
• Advanced proficiency with Kafka messaging platforms.
• Experience building both batch and streaming ETL pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, UCD, or Harness.
• Proficiency in Git and standard branching strategies.
• Experience with Unix shell scripting.
• Strong understanding of data systems architecture and data pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with orchestration tools like Autosys.
• Knowledge of Liquibase-based deployment.
