Description

You will modernize and migrate BI data assets, including ETL jobs, source tables, and analytical datasets.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build, refactor, and optimize complex SQL transformations for legacy and modern systems.
• Analyze and document end-to-end data lineage, mapping warehouse tables to ETL jobs and workflows.
• Design analytical data models and support semantic layers to ensure consistent metrics across Business Objects Universes.
• Execute safe decommissioning of legacy assets by identifying scheduling dependencies and data flows.
• Implement data quality, reconciliation, and certification practices for all migrated assets.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with SQL, specifically for complex transformations and optimization.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services, including Batch, S3, and EC2.
• Proven track record of ETL job migration and modernization.
• Experience designing and maintaining semantic layers and data models.
• Ability to analyze complex data lineage and documentation requirements.
