Description

Design and build data warehouses and ETL processes using IBM InfoSphere tools, owning the full lifecycle from development to optimization on multi-terabyte databases.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ETL processes, procedures, and database objects according to project specifications.
• Perform analysis, SQL scripting, and Unix scripting for tuning and optimization on large-scale data environments.
• Schedule, compile, and run DataStage jobs while creating reusable objects and job templates.
• Address data quality issues and analyze organizational data requirements using logical and physical diagrams.
• Provide onsite support and consulting at customer locations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of IT experience with 5+ years as a Data Integration practitioner.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with IBM DataStage, including clustering architecture and parallel jobs.
• 3+ years of SQL coding, querying, and database/data warehouse design principles.
• 2+ years of UNIX scripting, FTP, and basic network principles.
• Expertise in combine, sort, aggregate, and transform data operations.
• 1+ year of hands-on experience using XML stage and interpreting XML documents.
• 3+ years of experience in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting support/development issues.
• Proficiency in UNIX/LINUX and Windows NT platforms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with version 7.5 (QualityStage/DataStage).
• Experience in application development.
