Description

You will design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using IBM DataStage to support data architecture and modeling requirements.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and modify ETL processes based on established data architecture.
• Write and maintain complex SQL for data manipulation and extraction.
• Document all new development and modifications to ETL jobs and processes.
• Implement data warehousing principles including fact and dimension table modeling.

Required Skills

• 7 to 9 years of experience in ETL design and development using IBM DataStage components.
• Minimum 7 years of experience working with DataStage 9.1 or later.
• Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and writing complex SQL queries.
• Extensive experience with Unix shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Python.
• Working knowledge of Redshift and Snowflake.
• Experience working with data sources such as Netezza and Oracle Databases.
• At least 1 year of experience within the Insurance or Banking domain.

Preferred Skills

• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing (DW) principles and dimensional modeling.
