Description

Own the design, development, and optimization of ETL pipelines using IBM DataStage and PL/SQL. Build and maintain data workflows on Google Cloud Platform, ensuring scalability and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize PL/SQL code, including complex queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Design and implement ETL processes using IBM DataStage to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources.
• Build GCP data pipelines using services such as Big Query, Dataflow, Data Fusion, and Cloud Spanner.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in PL/SQL scripts, DataStage jobs, and Unix shell scripts.
• Optimize ETL workflows for performance and scalability based on data volume and processing time.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in PL/SQL development.
• Hands-on experience with IBM DataStage ETL tool for job design and deployment.
• Proficiency in Unix shell scripting for automation.
• Experience with GCP services: Big Query, Dataflow, Data Fusion, Cloud Spanner, or Cloud SQL.
• Familiarity with Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2 database technologies.
• Ability to build fault-tolerant, distributed data pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Airflow, DBT, Pub/Sub, or Cloud Run.
• Performance tuning expertise for PL/SQL and ETL processes.
