Description

You will design, build, and support ETL processes to load enterprise data warehouses using IBM InfoSphere DataStage.

Responsibilities

• Build and support ETL code to load data into relational databases including Oracle, DB2, and Sybase.
• Develop end-to-end ETL frameworks using DataStage jobs, routines, and sequences.
• Integrate data from diverse sources such as MQ, Solace, XML, Excel, and unstructured data.
• Optimize ETL performance using data partitioning algorithms and performance tuning techniques.
• Manage code versioning via GitHub or Microsoft Azure and handle automated production deployments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with IBM InfoSphere DataStage ETL development.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, including cursors, triggers, packages, and stored procedures.
• Extensive knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, DB2, and Sybase.
• Hands-on experience with MQ, Solace, XML, and integrating multiple data sources.
• Practical understanding of dimensional data modeling, specifically star and snowflake schemas.
• Experience using GitHub or Microsoft Azure for code versioning.
• Proficiency with Control-M scheduling tools and Agile methodology.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Apache Kafka.
• Understanding of ServiceNow and ITSM concepts.
