Description

You will lead the migration of DataStage ETL jobs from legacy Windows environments to DataStage V11.7 on Red Hat.

Responsibilities

• Migrate approximately 1,700 server jobs from DataStage V8.5 to DataStage V11.7.
• Test migrated ETL jobs to ensure data validation and data integrity.
• Fix issues identified during migration and testing phases.
• Performance tune upgraded jobs to ensure load times match or exceed legacy versions.
• Create new ETL jobs and update existing ones to support the EPM Data Warehouse.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in a DataStage ETL developer role.
• 2+ years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Experience with Oracle 19C and Oracle 12C databases.
• Proficiency in testing migrated ETL jobs and performing data validation.
• Experience managing data movement from source Oracle databases to staging and multi-dimensional layers.
• Ability to work within a production batch process environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DataStage Server and Parallel jobs, Routines, hash files, or sequences.
• Experience with batch scheduling tools such as Automic or Control-M.
• Experience with DataStage migration projects or developing Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) reports.
