Description

You will support the migration of a large Enterprise Database Warehouse to the AWS Cloud. You will implement migration solutions for moving data from Teradata to AWS Redshift.

Responsibilities

• Verify converted stored procedures, tables, views, and other database objects.
• Design and deploy automation tools to convert DDL and validate data migration.
• Collaborate with Architects, DevOps, and downstream BI teams to resolve migration defects.
• Follow established coding standards, change management, and code migration processes.
• Reverse-engineer existing code logic using strong analytical skills.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of ETL development and implementation experience.
• 5+ years of relational database experience.
• 3+ years of Python development.
• 3+ years of SQL development and performance tuning.
• Experience with AWS cloud-native application development.
• Proficiency with Linux environments.
• Experience using Bitbucket, GitLab, or similar code repositories.
• Experience working in an onsite-offshore model.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience with Cloud migration projects.
• Telecom or Cable industry experience.
