You will design, implement, and optimize backend ETL services for a large-scale enterprise data solution.
Responsibilities
Design and deploy backend ETL services and maintain standards for ETL code and project lifecycles.
Analyze complex data systems to provide efficient technical solutions and functional specifications.
Coordinate with architects, platform engineers, and product owners to build data processing procedures.
Perform root cause analysis on production issues and monitor databases and ETL environments.
Provide technical advice, effort estimates, and impact analysis for data projects.
Required Skills
6+ years of experience using ETL tools for data cleansing, profiling, transforming, and workflow scheduling.
Expert proficiency in writing, debugging, and optimizing SQL.
3-4 years of programming experience using Python or PySpark/Glue.
3-4 years of experience with AWS services including Glue, S3, Redshift, Lambda, Step Functions, RDS Aurora/MySQL, Apache Iceberg, CloudWatch, SNS, SQS, and EventBridge.
Strong understanding of design patterns, models, and architecture used in Big Data processing.
Ability to troubleshoot database issues and familiarity with observability tools.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.
