Description

You will design, develop, and support cloud-native ETL/ELT solutions on Microsoft Azure, focusing on Azure Data Factory (ADF) and enterprise Data Lake architectures. You will lead technical delivery, optimize data pipelines, and ensure scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency across distributed systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain complex ADF pipelines, data flows, and enterprise ETL/ELT solutions on the Azure platform.
• Define and enforce ETL design standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices to ensure maintainability and scalability.
• Build and deploy applications on Azure using AKS, Event Hub, Cosmos DB, and PostgreSQL, implementing secure networking via Azure VNet.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, managing source code, release processes, and automated testing with Git and CloudSmith.
• Implement observability, monitoring, and security using Dynatrace and Mezmo, including advanced error handling, logging, and performance tuning.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Senior or Lead ETL Developer.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud development, specifically Azure Data Factory (ADF), Data Lake, and Data Hub.
• Strong proficiency in Java and microservices architecture.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Azure Kubernetes Service/AKS).
• Solid understanding of modern DevOps toolchains, including GitHub Actions, Git, and CloudSmith.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment.
• Knowledge of Azure Event Hub, Cosmos DB (MongoDB API), and Azure PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Dynatrace and Mezmo.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with large-scale, high-volume data integrations across on-prem, cloud, SaaS, and API sources.
• Background in solution design, technical leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
