Description

Manage data migration from legacy databases to cloud-based environments and implement synchronization processes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Migrate data from legacy databases to new cloud-based application databases.
• Implement synchronization processes between MDSDB and iQIES data, including facility, survey, incident, and license information.
• Design, develop, test, and implement data migration strategies in a cloud environment.
• Write technical specifications based on conceptual designs and business requirements.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience working with ETL applications.
• 2+ years of current experience with cloud technology.
• Proficiency with AWS Glue and Amazon RDS for Oracle.
• Experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Expert understanding of the SDLC.
• Ability to perform data validation and conceptual design.
• Strong communication skills for technical documentation and team collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
