Description

You will design, develop, and maintain data reporting solutions and software enhancements using DataStage ETL.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions for new and existing data reporting requirements using DataStage.
• Perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot and address data-related issues.
• Analyze agile user stories to develop, prototype, unit test, and deploy quality solutions.
• Automate manual tasks and improve existing processes to increase application stability.
• Support production applications and perform code changes to DataStage ETL and Unix jobs.

Required Skills

• 3-4 years of experience with DataStage (ETL), preferably version 11.7.
• Proficiency in UNIX and shell scripting.
• Experience with Control-M for job scheduling.
• Strong SQL skills using db2, Sybase, or Oracle.
• Experience using Jira for task management and Bitbucket for version control.
• Working knowledge of the full system development life cycle (SDLC) within agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Working experience in Java or SAS.
• Experience working within the mortgage industry.
