Description

You will migrate and upgrade ETL processes from DataStage V8.5 to V11.7, owning testing, performance tuning, and production implementation.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Migrate approximately 1,700 server jobs from DataStage V8.5 to V11.7.
• Test migrated ETL jobs, including data validation and integrity checks.
• Fix issues identified during migration or testing phases.
• Performance tune upgraded jobs to meet or exceed previous load time benchmarks.
• Create new ETL jobs, update existing ones, and document processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DataStage ETL development.
• 3+ years of experience migrating DataStage jobs.
• 2+ years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Technical proficiency with Oracle 19C and Oracle 12C databases.
• Experience working with PeopleSoft systems (HCM, FMS, or ELM).
• Ability to perform data validation and integrity testing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DataStage Server and Parallel jobs, Routines, hash files, and sequences.
• Experience with batch scheduling tools such as Automic or Control-M.
