Description
You will design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into destination systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement ETL processes to move data from source to target schemas.
- Develop and maintain data integration workflows, job scheduling, and monitoring mechanisms.
- Collaborate with database and system administrators to optimize performance and system integration.
- Analyze data requirements to define transformation rules and ensure data integrity.
- Validate the consistency of migrated data against source structures.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with DataStage and SSIS.
- Proficiency with Oracle, DB2 UDB, SQL Server, and Teradata.
- Experience working with flat files, CSV, and SSMSS.
- Competency in using Data Modeler.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience.
- Minimum 6 months of experience in ETL processes or software development.
- Ability to travel or relocate to unanticipated US locations on short notice for extended periods.
